Sales and Performance Manager

The Business Controller acts as a strategic finance partner to the business, providing financial insight, performance monitoring, and decision support to drive profitable growth and cost discipline across the insurance value chain.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a finance business partner to business units, CXOs, and functional heads
- Monitor actuals vs plan, forecasts, and rolling projections
- Analyze profitability by LOB, channel, and product (e.g. ANP, NBV, margin, EO impact, OP)
- Supporting business discussion and decision by performing meaningful financial modelling
- Provide insights on expense management, cost allocation, and efficiency initiatives
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning cycles
- Review and challenge business assumptions to ensure financial discipline
- Coordinate with Actuarial, Accounting, FP&A, and Regional teams
Key Skills & Experience
- 6–10 years of experience in finance / controlling in insurance services
- Well verse about IFRS 17 financials
- Strong understanding of insurance P&L, acquisition costs, persistency, and expense drivers
- Experience with forecasting, budgeting, and management reporting
- Ability to translate complex financial data into clear business insights
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Hands‑on experience with Power point, advance Excel (Macro/ VFA ) and Data visualization tool (Power BI/ Tableau)
- Comfortable working in a matrix and regional environment
- High level of accuracy and attention to details
- Ability to do data analysis using GenAI or AI
