Job purpose/ role

We are looking for an intern (m/f/d) to strengthen our Infrastructure Direct Investments team at AllianzGI head office in Munich for a duration of at least 3 months starting on a rolling basis.

What you do:

• Support the investment team in the preparation and execution of infrastructure transactions across various workstreams, including due diligence and advisor interactions
• Conduct market, industry, and company research to help assess investment opportunities and sector developments
• Prepare and refine presentations, reports, and other investment materials for team discussions and decision-making bodies, including the investment committee
• Contribute to financial analyses and modelling, assisting in the preparation and interpretation of key metrics and documentation
• Facilitate smooth day‑to‑day project operations through diligent document management, timely updates of workstream materials, and proactive problem‑solving

What you bring:

• Currently enrolled student in the area of finance, accounting, or a comparable programme with strong academic record and proven academic excellence
• Team player with strong analytical skills and high degree of dedication
• Excellent English skills (both in writing and spoken)
• Advanced experience with MS Office, in particular Excel, PowerPoint and Word
• Experience in applying generative AI tools like Copilot to improve operational efficiency
• Prior work experience in the financial services industry is a plus
