Who will you be joining?  

 

As the Growth Triathlon Team, our primary mission is to accelerate growth in substance across Allianz by expanding our customer base and reducing customer churn. We work hand-in-hand with our Operating Entities (OEs) to identify growth opportunities, co-develop global growth initiatives, share best practice, support the deployment of more than 15 high-impact initiatives, and ensure alignment on one of Allianz SE’s most strategic priorities: long-term, customer-driven growth.

We are seeking an intern (m/f/d) to support us in steering the project as a PMO as well as driving our growth initiatives across New Business and Customer Retention supporting one of our Initiative Owners, with a particular focus on cross-selling and cancellation management.

This role provides a unique opportunity to learn how growth strategies are developed and deployed in our OEs. Due to the Growth Triathlon’s cross-functional setup, you will get a unique chance to closely collaborate with colleagues from Data, Distribution, Customer Experience and Strategy and assist in driving initiatives that directly influence policy growth and lower customer churn.

 

How can you make an impact? 

 

  • Support the preparation and ideation of global blueprints for New Business and Churn projects and participate in OE best practice exchanges and collect and document shared knowledge.
  • Assist initiative owners in coordinating deliverables, monitoring progress, and following up with stakeholders such as OEs and relevant internal teams e.g. Customer Experience and Distribution.
  • Take ownership of selected PMO tasks such as day-to-day project coordination: calendar management, meeting logistics, follow-ups and stakeholder communication.
  • Help plan and run team events, offsites and onsites (idea generation, set up, logistics, materials, follow ups).
  • Support governance routines (incl. preparation of biweekly cross-team meetings, documentation of meeting results and upcoming actions, etc.).
  • Create and quality check PowerPoint slides (structured storylines, charts, clear messaging) and help improve ways of working (roles, handovers, simple processes).

 

What are you made of?

 

  • Active university enrolment in Business, Economics, Management, Marketing or a related field.
  • Strong hands‑on skills in PowerPoint (structured slides, charts, clean formatting and quality control).
  • Basic understanding of how projects run and a reliable, structured working style.
  • Comfort with coordination tasks: organizing meetings, tracking actions, following up with stakeholders, keeping things moving.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Proactive attitude and a willingness to learn and improve how the team works.
  • Strong sense of ownership and independent working style.
  • Openness to creative and innovative solutions, as well as a passion for working with forward-thinking technologies such as artificial intelligence or internal ChatGPT.
