Intern in Business Transformation Economics at Allianz SE (m/f/d)

Who will you be joining?
Within Business Transformation, the BT Performance and Economics team plays a critical role in ensuring financial transparency, cost governance, and value tracking across Allianz Global Transformation initiatives. The team is responsible for key areas including:
- Steering Business Cases for transformation initiatives to secure funding and demonstrate value
- supporting stakeholders along governance process (IT Cost allocation and transparency)
- supporting ad-hoc financial analyses and reporting for senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams and
- contributing to financial planning, forecasting, and actuals tracking for BT-related programs.
How can you make an impact?
- Support the end-to-end business case process – from data gathering across Operating Entities and quality checks to consolidated figures – and maintain the program Briefings Dashboard
- Help steer the program Business Cases, ensuring sound financial assumptions, robust cost-benefit analyses, and alignment with governance requirements
- Prepare presentations and briefings for senior stakeholders, and deliver pragmatic, timely answers to ad-hoc analytical requests from the team and senior management
- Track agreed action items and drive their completion across team
What are you made of?
- Master student in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or related fields
- Very good communication skills in English (written and spoken);
- Excellent computer literacy, especially Claude/Chat GPT, Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, data analysis) and PowerPoint
- Experience or interest in data analysis tools (e.g., Python, R, VBA, or BI tools) is a plus
- Previous internship in financial services, consulting, or corporate finance is a plus
