Intern in Group Actuarial Life at Allianz SE (m/f/d)

Who will you be joining? 

You will be joining a very dynamic team in Group Actuarial. This position offers in-depth exposure in an international environment to the life insurance market from the perspective of actuaries working at Allianz' headquarter, tasked with the review, analysis and reporting of Group results.

How can you make an impact? 

• Supporting Allianz SE Life actuaries in the review and analysis of different topics with focus on IFRS 17 and Solvency II including assistance with the preparation of analysis tools
• Participation in quarterly reporting processes for preparation of financial statements for Allianz Group, aggregating of results of Allianz Operating Entities worldwide
• Support of ad-hoc analysis in the dynamic actuarial field
• Optimizing current reporting and governance requirements with the aim of improving processes
• Preparing presentations and other communication for various audiences

What are you made of?

• Student of Economics, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, or other quantitative discipline
• Enrolled at university for the whole period of employment
• Advanced programming skills (Excel VBA or similar)
• Other computer skills are beneficial (Powerpoint, Word, Outlook, Python)
• Fluent in English
• You are enrolled at a university during the contract period
• Openness to creative and innovative solutions, as well as a passion for working with forward-thinking technologies such as artificial intelligence or internal ChatGPT.
