Intern in Local Environment Office at Allianz SE (m/f/d)

Who will you be joining?

Corporate Building Solutions (CBS) provides strategic governance and operational management of corporate services for Allianz SE, including real estate, building technology, and sustainability initiatives. Within CBS, the Local Environmental Office supports the environmental governance and operational sustainability performance of Allianz SE by assisting with compliance with Group requirements and regulatory obligations. As an intern, your role focuses on supporting the coordination of the ISO 14001 Environmental Management System, contributing to mandatory reporting cycles, and embedding sustainability criteria into operational processes.

How can you make an impact?

• Support the preparation of mandatory environmental reports by collecting, checking, and preparing environmental data for regular reporting cycles
• Assist in maintaining the ISO 14001 Environmental Management System by helping with documentation, audits, and preparation of management reviews
• Support the preparation of environmental plans and action items by helping gather information and prepare working documents
• Help embed sustainability criteria into operational processes by working with colleagues from areas such as travel and facility management.
• Support hands-on environmental initiatives and projects specifically at the Allianz location in Schwabing to improve local environmental performance and awareness.

What are you made of?

• You are currently working towards a university degree (Master’s or PhD) in sustainability, business administration, management, environmental sciences, political sciences, environmental engineering, or a related field
• Ideally, you have already gained first practical experience in the fields of sustainability and/or project management
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in German and English
• Attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks in parallel, and quickly adapt to new problem settings and situations
• Openness to creative and innovative solutions, as well as a passion for working with forward‑thinking technologies such as artificial intelligence or internal ChatGPT
• You are looking for an internship with a duration of 6-12 months and remain enrolled at a university during the contract period
