An excellent opportunity has arisen for a proactive and dynamic intern within our Transformation and Operations / IT steering team based in Munich.

 

The Transformation and Operations / IT steering department takes over of strategic transformation steering of the Operating Entities (OEs) of Allianz Group towards the defined Operations and IT Group Strategy.

 

In this department, we are currently looking for an intern to support with all aspects of the OE Steering process. We are particularly responsible for supporting the Operating Entities to reach their defined Operations & IT targets along the defined priorities.

 

What you will do as Intern in Underwriting Support (m/f/d)

 

You support the team in their daily work, e.g.:

 

  • Provide support for developing initiatives, frameworks, tools & methodologies related to Operations & IT Steering
  • Support the further design and development of the internal Ops & IT processes and training materials
  • Support the steering of the yearly AZ Group planning processes, IT Steering Boards and further top management meetings
  • Provide support for the preparation of Board presentations
  • Preparation, execution and wrap-up of workshops and team meetings
  • Optionally: Create, support, and maintain high quality reports and dashboards with Power BI
  • Optionally: Support in the creation of an MVP for a Microsoft PowerApp

 

This experience offer you a great starting point for you to get to know the insurance industry and insights into some of the operating entities of the Allianz Group. In addition you will acquire valuable analytical skills. You will work independently with guidance from senior project managers and your personal mentor.

 

What you bring as Intern in Underwriting Support (m/f/d)

 

  • Enrolled in a university program in Business Administration, Economics, other business related fields
  • Experience in handling and interpretation of data
  • Experience in project management methodologies is a plus, not a must
  • A strong working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other business tools such as Microsoft Teams, and OneNote desired
  • Entrepreneurial approach and be able to work independently as well as part of a team as required
  • A plus, but not a must is experience in using PowerBI and PowerApps
  • Openness to creative and innovative solutions, as well as a passion for working with forward-thinking technologies such as artificial intelligence or internal ChatGPT.
