We are looking for a working student (m/f/d) for our modern and innovative location Munich Schwabing.

 

Group Accounting & Reporting (GAR) provides reliable, qualitative financial information to management, investors, analysts and the public in general through external reporting of Allianz SE and Allianz Group. Members of GAR ensure the adherence to the highest quality standards in accounting and financial reporting to support Allianz' s reputation as a top-tier global financial institution. In the Accounting Policy Department (APD) team, the focus of the team is in accounting guidance and policies, and providing global support on all accounting related topics.

 

This position is an ideal opportunity for students interested in pursuing a career in accounting and learning more about the insurance industry. In addition, you will have the opportunity to apply your accounting knowledge and broaden your exposure to handling different topics with different team members, and multi-tasking.

 

What you will do as Working Student in Group Accounting & Reporting (m/f/d)

 

  • You will assist us in supporting the team in a broad spectrum of tasks
  • Accounting research, preparing reports and presentations
  • Updating the Group Accounting Manual,
  • Organizing events and managing administrative tasks

 

What you bring as Working Student in Group Accounting & Reporting (m/f/d)

 

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Business administration/Economics/Finance with a focus on international accounting
  • Proficient in the use of MS tools including Word, Powerpoint, Excel
  • Capable to easily communicate in English
  • Previous internship experience in Accounting or Reporting would be ideal
  • Initial knowledge of international accounting (IFRS)
  • Able to convey complex issues clearly and succinctly both orally and in writing
  • Genuine interest in accounting and the insurance industry
  • Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills as well as results-oriented attitude
  • Openness to creative and innovative solutions, as well as a passion for working with forward-thinking technologies such as artificial intelligence or internal ChatGPT
