Working Student in Group Actuarial at Allianz SE (m/f/d)

Who will you be joining?

Group Actuarial (GA) is the regulatory Actuarial Function at Group level for Allianz Group. Reporting directly to the Allianz SE Board of Management, GA plays a central role in ensuring actuarial excellence across the entire Allianz organization. Within GA, the Property & Casualty (P&C) team is responsible for overseeing the loss reserves and actuarial governance for all P&C business across Allianz's global operating entities.

You will be joining a highly international and collaborative team of actuaries and data specialists who work at the intersection of actuarial science and modern data technology — driving transparency, automation, and data-driven decision-making across one of the world's largest insurance groups.

How can you make an impact?

As a Working Student in Group Actuarial, you will play an active role in building and enhancing our data analytics and reporting capabilities. You will support the team in designing and improving Power BI dashboards and automating data flows from operational entities to Allianz SE — helping us turn complex actuarial data into clear, actionable insights.

What are you made of?

Minimum requirements:

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Business Informatics, or a related field
• Hands-on experience or strong interest in Power BI (data modeling, DAX, visualizations)
• Familiarity with SQL and Databricks, or similar big data/cloud analytics platforms
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail and a structured way of working
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in an international team environment
• Fluent in English

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Python for data manipulation and automation
• Basic understanding of actuarial or insurance concepts
• Openness to creative and innovative solutions, as well as a passion for working with forward-thinking technologies such as artificial intelligence or internal ChatGPT
