Customer Contract Management Principal

The Customer Contract Management (CCM) Principal position is responsible for Allianz Technology of America’s (ATA) CCM function, including ensuring compliance with the ATA Customer Contracting Management Standard and the basic commercial accounting principle ‘no service or project without a contract’. 

What you do

• Manage and run the CCM function, including all day-to-day operations, direct or functional management of CCM function staff, financial planning and controlling, ownership of the Customer Contracting Standard, maintenance of Order Agreement templates while striving for structural/conceptual standardization and simplification 
• Lead and maintain the establishment of clear roles & responsibilities, as well as current contracting process documentation of involved parties (Demand Managers, Asset Management, Account Managers, Service Owners, CCM, etc.) for collaboration and efficient processing

• Maintain current and accurate Customer Contracting database(s) in order to store, track, report on, and retrieve Order Agreements 

• Drive opportunities for automation in Order Agreement creation processes within tools such as ServiceNow.

• Work with Demand Management and Account Management to direct proper contract type and process for customer requests

• Complete and submit monthly reporting on KPIs and other CCM contracting metrics

• Manage and oversee strategic contractual deals between OEs and ATA  that have high visibility to management  

• Maintain accurate contract templates and lead preparation of Order Agreements, and support Service Owner for clarification of technical clauses, commercials and involve Legal if required 

• Ensure contract review happens within a multi-dimensional assessment with respect to legal, regulatory, policy-wise and commercial requirements (e.g. transfer pricing, tax, personal data processing,) Functionally support Customer Contracting function allowing local/regional contract signatures 

• In collaboration with legal team, implement external/regulatory requirements intro contracts and contracting process
• Contribute to global CCM function by collaborating on best practices, and assessing and driving global CCM initiatives within ATA
• Participate in regular contract status alignment calls with OEs and other Allianz group entities
• Be the ATA SPOC for all intercompany contracting inquiries within ATA and from other Allianz Group entities

What you bring

• Four year degree or equivalent work experience 
• 5-8 years’ professional work experience, with focus in business process development and optimization

• 2+years’ experience in contract management 

• Experience working for a global organization in a matrixed environment 

• Demonstrated ability to support multiple client business units/operating entities  

• Ability to build trusted relationships with business partners 

• Proficient level with reporting 

Locations

• Hybrid 2-days/week in Minneapolis, MN or Chicago, IL

• The annualized base pay range for this role is $105,000-135,0000. The annual base salary range represents a nationwide market range. The actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role, and the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate. The base pay is just one component of the ATA total compensation package. As part of our comprehensive compensation and highly rated benefits programs, ATA also offers eligibility for an incentive-based annual bonus.
