As the Director, Ethics Innovation at Allianz Life, you will be at the forefront of promoting our organization's unwavering commitment to ethical practices and compliance. Your role is pivotal in crafting, communicating and executing strategic plans that continuously elevate an industry leading ethics program and culture, ensuring continued alignment with Allianz’s mission, vision, and values. By developing and implementing compelling narratives and campaigns, you will drive awareness and engagement with ethics initiatives across the organization, fostering a culture of integrity and transparency.

Your expertise in stakeholder engagement will be crucial as you work closely with various teams to integrate ethical considerations into business strategies and operations. You'll leverage industry partnerships and innovative solutions to expand program offerings, ensuring they remain relevant and impactful. You'll analyze program performance, identify opportunities for continual improvement, execute and report on progress to the executive team and directors.

Your role will focus on planning and executing events and workshops that emphasize our commitment to ethics, aiming to set a benchmark for ethical excellence in the industry. You'll efficiently manage budgets to maximize the impact of these initiatives. By organizing and executing these internal and external events, you'll strengthen employees' understanding and dedication to ethical standards. Your leadership will ensure that Allianz Life's ethics program not only meets but surpasses expectations, establishing a high standard for ethics in the industry. 

 

What you do:

 

  • Develop, execute, and implement comprehensive strategies to promote leading ethical principles and practices within the company.
  • Foster a culture of trust and integrity by promoting ethical behavior and decision-making across the organization.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to integrate ethical considerations into business strategies and operations.
  • Create engaging content and campaigns that highlight the importance of living our values.
  • Collaborate with communication and marketing teams to ensure consistent messaging across all platforms.
  • Manage and complete tasks for projects aimed at enhancing the ethics program, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to drive initiatives forward and achieve strategic objectives.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including the Group Compliance team and other Operating Entities, to ensure alignment and support for ethics initiatives.
  • Monitor and assess the effectiveness of the ethics program, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Identify and assess potential ethical risks within the organization and develop strategies to mitigate these risks.
  • Leverage technology and innovative solutions to enhance the ethics program, including data analytics for monitoring compliance or implementing digital training platforms.
  • Manage the budget and resources allocated to the ethics program, ensuring efficient and effective use to maximize impact.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and management on ethical issues, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Facilitate workshops, training, and focus group sessions to educate employees on ethics policies and practices.
  • Continuously assess and improve the ethics program to address emerging trends and challenges in compliance.
  • Analyze data and feedback to measure the effectiveness of ethics marketing campaigns and initiatives.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting achievements and areas for improvement.
  • Utilization of artificial intelligence tools and resources (e.g. generative AI)

 

What you bring:

 

  • Degree or equivalent experience in Ethics, Compliance, Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of marketing and growth of programs, with the ability to learn industry standards and regulations related to ethics and compliance.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement innovative strategies that enhance ethical culture.
  • Strong team collaboration skills with proven ability to work effectively with others to achieve shared objectives and drive collective success.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience collaborating with industry organizations and thought leaders in the ethics field.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess program effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and ethical judgment.
  • You must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring immigration sponsorship now or in the future. This includes holders of H-1B, H4, L-1, L-2, TN, OPT, CPT, and other nonimmigrant visas.

 

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

  • Certification in ethics and compliance (e.g., CCEP, LPEC)
  • Familiarity with digital tools and platforms that enhance ethics program delivery

 

Job Posting Range:  $117,000 - $157,00

Note the job posting range is exclusive of company benefits or other compensation. This role is also eligible for an annual incentive program. If you are hired, your final base salary will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, experience, skills, competencies, and/or education. In addition to those factors, we will also consider internal equity of our current employees. Please keep in mind that the range provided is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at or near the maximum of the range would not be typical to allow for future and continued salary growth.
