What you do:

Partner with AVP to develop and execute strategic initiatives and represent the field and distribution perspective on various projects and initiatives. Provides direction, oversight, leadership, coaching and mentoring for their Manager and team of Relationship Specialists and Relationship Managers. Lead change efforts while working closely with sales and operations to ensure effective service and sales support is provided to key internal and external customers. Direct team to provide a high quality, concierge level service to the field when handling complex cases, service issues and accommodation requests to help drive sales, repeat business and producer retention.

 

  • Leads and directs strategic department, sales, operations and enterprise-wide initiatives to ensure the field's perspective is represented. Understands the regulatory environment and how it impacts the business. Leads and directs on yearly initiatives including assembling and leading project teams, creating and implementing plans, recommendations and measuring results.
  • Provides leadership, coaching and mentoring for Relationship Management staff. Builds the skills and develops team members to provide a superior service experience to internal and external distribution. Directs in problem solving/resolution, finding creative solutions, collaborating across areas and continually increasing business knowledge of the team. Partners with employees to create development plans, conducts regular coaching conversations, provides effective, timely feedback on performance.
  • Establish, build and maintain strong working relationships with peers, key business partners, sales and operations leaders, internal and external distribution partners to deliver a high quality customer experience aligned with the sales and service strategies.
  • Leads the design, refinement and execution of key change initiatives to ensure continued service improvements. Provides the voice of both internal and external distribution stakeholders. Develop and lead execution of cohesive plans for key business partners. Seeks areas for service and process improvements. Coordinates the analysis for proposed changes. Executes on work that supports sales and retention. Establishes strong and successful working relationships with peers, key business partners, sales and operations leaders.
  • Direct and lead team to deliver concierge level service to top distribution, internal and external distribution partners by taking ownership, solving problems, resolving service issues, proactively communicating key operational changes to sales teams and field partners, handling complex cases and accommodations.
  • Represents distribution (all channels) at level 2 accommodations, various task forces and other corporate committee assignments.

 

What you bring:

  • 8+ years of experience:  Financial service, insurance and/or sales or operations; proven successful strategic leadership, business acumen, relationship and customer service skills.
  • Four-year degree required or equivalent experience.
  • Utilization of artificial intelligence tools and resources (e.g. generative AI).
  • You must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and will not require immigration sponsorship for visa status now or in the future (e.g. H1-B, L-1, TN, etc). If you are currently on CPT/OPT, you are ineligible due to the need for future immigration sponsorship. 

 

Base Salary Range:  $117,000 - $196,000

 

Actual base salary may vary based upon factors such as relevant experience, qualifications, internal equity of peers, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual incentive program.
