What you do:
This is an Information Security Risk & Controls role in the Information Security Risk Management division of Allianz Life. Working under general direction, you will perform control oversight and support the identification and assessment of information security risks leveraging the company’s GRC tool, RSA Archer. You will develop subject matter expertise on the Allianz risk management framework and work in partnership with IT groups, business owners, and other functional areas to assess and report on the security risk within the organization across a broad range of security practices.
- You will develop and maintain subject matter expertise on assigned security controls; review and assess the adequacy of information security control evidence
- You will identify and evaluate control gaps and oversee remediation efforts in partnership with control owners; assess the adequacy of mitigation plans and/or compensating controls to address non-compliance
- Collaborate with key partners and business stakeholders to ensure accurate documentation of information security risks and perform risk assessments
- You will effectively manage a pipeline of IS risks ensuring timely updates and remediation
- You will assist with reporting on program performance via dashboards, KPIs, etc
- Utilization of artificial intelligence tools and resources (e.g. generative AI)
What you bring:
4+ years of experience required:
- Basic understanding of Information Security Governance Risk and Compliance, (e.g. International Standards Organization (ISO), COBIT or National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST))
- Familiarity of SDLC and project management processes. Hands-on project experience desired.
- Solid understanding of security principles & their application to Information Security Risk Management.
- Willingness to learn how to perform application, vendor and/or infrastructure security risk assessments.
- 4-year degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field
- You must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring immigration sponsorship now or in the future. This includes holders of H-1B, H4, L-1, L-2, TN, OPT, CPT, and other nonimmigrant visas
Job posting range $67,000 - $101,000
Note the job posting range is exclusive of company benefits or other compensation. This role is also eligible for an annual incentive program. If you are hired, your final base salary will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, experience, skills, competencies, and/or education. In addition to those factors, we will also consider internal equity of our current employees. Please keep in mind that the range provided is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at or near the maximum of the range would not be typical to allow for future and continued salary growth.
