What you do:
Join a collaborative and high-performing Legal Department where no two days are the same. This hybrid Legal Coordinator role combines the best of legal administration excellence with paralegal-level litigation support, offering the opportunity to work closely with attorneys, paralegals, and business partners across the company on a wide range of litigation, regulatory, employment, and legal operations matters.
In this role, you will serve as a trusted member of the Legal Department’s Litigation Team, helping keep critical legal matters moving forward through exceptional organization, attention to detail, and sound judgment. You will manage key administrative functions that support attorneys and paralegals, including scheduling, communications, travel and meeting coordination, and filing. In this role, you will be a key member of the Legal Department who owns the Company’s subpoena response, including subpoena response coordination, document collection, analysis, and production, and supports active litigation matters.

Administrative responsibilities:
- Provide support to attorneys and paralegals —follow direction and execute on assigned tasks; produce high quality, accurate work product; assist with identification and implementation of process improvements and best practices; develop proficiency with Legal Department technology; independently draft, review, and revise key legal documents for style, accuracy, and substance.
- Coordinate attorney and department calendars, meetings, travel arrangements, expense reporting, vendor invoices, and departmental purchasing needs
- Manage Legal Department mail and shared inboxes, ensuring timely review, response, routing, and escalation of legal correspondence and requests
- Maintain Legal Department records and files in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and record-retention standards
- Demonstrate high level proficiency in MS Office tools including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Copilot, as well as Webex, Teams, and other conferencing systems
Litigation tasks:
- Collaboration and teamwork with paralegals and attorneys handling subpoena and litigation matters
- Conduct research and gather business records and information from a variety of business sources and systems in support of subpoenas, litigation matters, internal investigations, reporting requests, and special projects
- Coordinate document collection efforts with business partners across the organization and organize responsive information for legal review and production
- Prepare and ensure successful delivery of check/wire requests for litigation settlements.
- Generate invoices for subpoena responses, in addition to following up on unpaid invoices.
- Maintain and create monthly subpoena metric reports
- Identify potential legal, regulatory, operational, or process risks and escalate concerns to attorneys and department leadership as appropriate
- Exercise independent judgment in prioritizing competing requests, resolving routine issues, and determining when escalation to attorneys or department leadership is appropriate.
- Utilization of artificial intelligence tools and resources (e.g. generative AI)
What you bring:
- 2-3 years of experience in a law firm, corporate legal or compliance department, or similar professional legal environment
- Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience required
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and competing demands with accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to interact professionally with attorneys, business partners, vendors, and external parties
- Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment, maintain confidentiality, and handle sensitive information with discretion
- Working knowledge of legal terminology, legal documents, and legal support processes.
- Experience coordinating projects, initiatives, or cross-functional work involving multiple stakeholders
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, and related business technologies
- Proven ability to learn new systems, technologies, and processes quickly
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively in a collaborative team environment
- Ability to perform the essential functions of the position, including extended periods of computer and desk work
- Ability to work a minimum of three days per week in the office and availability M-F during standard business hours between 7:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
- You must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring immigration sponsorship now or in the future. This includes holders of H-1B, H4, L-1, L-2, TN, OPT, CPT, and other nonimmigrant visas
Job posting range $48,000-74,000
Note the job posting range is exclusive of company benefits or other compensation. This role is also eligible for an annual incentive program. If you are hired, your final base salary will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, experience, skills, competencies, and/or education. In addition to those factors, we will also consider internal equity of our current employees. Please keep in mind that the range provided is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at or near the maximum of the range would not be typical to allow for future and continued salary growth.
