What you do:

As a Product Illustrations Analyst/Sr. Product Illustrations Analyst, you will play a critical role in the execution of the illustrations product and capabilities roadmap at Allianz Life comprising of fixed index annuities, registered index-linked annuities, and life insurance. In this role you will gain a deep understanding of our products and services and be responsible for the execution and ongoing support of our illustrations software. As an -  Product Illustrations Analyst/Sr. Product Illustrations Analyst you will have the opportunity to work with areas across the company and external vendors to ensure that all product-related information and calculations on the illustration systems are accurate. The - Product Illustrations Analyst/Sr. Product Illustrations Analyst role has a direct impact on execution of the company’s goals and serving our customers.

 

Key Responsibilities (recommend deleting and using the new key responsibilities)

  • Develop, implement, and maintain illustrations system. Ensures that output correctly communicates product features, and meets the regulatory, legal, and compliance requirements
  • Ensure accuracy of illustrated values for new product offerings and ongoing maintenance of existing products. Support debugging of value mismatches between the illustration and the testing tool, including root cause analysis
  • Validate software user interface against product specification document to confirm all features were properly captured for user engagement
  • Collaborate with vendor and business partners throughout the product illustration development process
  • Strong cross organizational skills with a focus on ability to communicate effectively and comfortably with key stakeholders
  • Utilization of artificial intelligence tools and resources (e.g. generative AI)

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain illustration systems, ensuring outputs clearly communicate product features and meet regulatory, legal, and compliance requirements
  • Design, develop, and maintain illustration reports, user interface, and integrations to ensure clarity, accuracy, and effective communication of product values and assumptions
  • Partner with distribution, marketing, operations, and other key stakeholders to ensure illustration outputs support financial professional needs and deliver a clear, customer‑friendly experience
  • Translate product requirements into clear user stories and acceptance criteria for development teams; collaborate closely throughout the development lifecycle to ensure accurate implementation
  • Plan and execute user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate illustration functionality, calculations, and outputs align with product specifications and business expectations
  • Collaborate with vendors and internal business partners throughout the product illustration development and enhancement process
  • Communicate effectively across the organization, building strong relationships with key stakeholders to support delivery and ongoing optimization of illustration capabilities
  • Leverage artificial intelligence tools and resources (e.g., generative AI) to support efficiency, analysis, and continuous improvement

 

What you bring:

  • 2-3 years of experience required
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required 
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring immigration sponsorship now or in the future. This includes holders of H-1B, H4, L-1, L-2, TN, OPT, CPT, and other nonimmigrant visas 

 

Base Salary Range $69,000-124,000

Actual base salary may vary based upon factors such as relevant experience, qualifications, internal equity of peers, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual incentive program.
