What you do:

 

Reinsurance transaction management

  • Manage the project(s) from initiation through delivery, warranty, if applicable, and closure. Interface with stakeholder to manage expectations.
  • Develop project plan, including identify and schedule project deliverables, milestones and tasks. Formulate and define the problem, scope, impacts and objectives of project. Perform periodic project schedule analysis to identify critical path and resource issues.
  • Collaborate with functional managers from cross-functional teams on prioritizations, ensure complete and appropriate resourcing.
  • Identify risks and issues, assign responsibility and drive towards resolution; provide guidance when necessary.
  • Conduct project kick-off and ongoing meetings; capture decisions, issues, and action items.
  • Collect and report on plan-to-actual progress to the project schedule, at individual project task and overall project levels. Be able communicate the plan and status to the broader audience.
  • Integrate best practices, project standards, procedures, and quality objectives, including metrics for assessing progress into projects and provide feedback for improvement.
  • Manage the project budget, if applicable. 

 

Reinsurance operation management

  • Provide support on reinsurance governance, ensure compliance with regulation requirements and company policies. Prepare and maintain accurate records and documentation related to reinsurance operation and governance.
  • Assist in the management and administration of reinsurance contracts. Provide operational support during the contract drafting phase as needed.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely processing of reinsurance transactions.
  • Pay a key role in the day-to-day reinsurance operation, including but not limited to managing Reinsurance Working Groups and Reinsurance Committee.
  • Support the team in the development and implementation of operational strategies and initiatives. Develop and implement standard operating procedures to optimize workflow and increase efficiency.

Utilization of artificial intelligence tools and resources (e.g. generative AI)

 

What you bring:

  • 4-year undergraduate degree required, MBA preferred
  • Certificate/or completed trainings in PMP preferred
  • Excellent organization and prioritization skills, strong verbal and written communication skills
  • High adaptability and agility in a dynamic environment, ability to maintain focus under pressure, willingness to be available outside standard work hours when necessary
  • Prior reinsurance experience preferred, prior experience managing reinsurance transactions is a plus
  • Ability to manage cross-functional teams and work with both subject matter experts across the organizations and project managers
  • Sound knowledge of project management principals and tools
  • Solid understanding of business dynamics, planning and execution
  • You must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring immigration sponsorship now or in the future. This includes holders of H-1B, H4, L-1, L-2, TN, OPT, CPT, and other nonimmigrant visas

 

Job posting range $80,000 - $121,000  

 

Note the job posting range is exclusive of company benefits or other compensation. This role is also eligible for an annual incentive program. If you are hired, your final base salary will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, experience, skills, competencies, and/or education. In addition to those factors, we will also consider internal equity of our current employees. Please keep in mind that the range provided is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at or near the maximum of the range would not be typical to allow for future and continued salary growth.
