About the Job
Distribution Allianz Insurance (DAI) team was created to strengthen the position of Allianz Global Investors (AllianzGI) in providing sustainable asset management solutions to Allianz / Allianz Investment Management (AIM) by continuously striving to improve AllianzGI offering and service delivery to Allianz / AIM as the largest and most important institutional client of AllianzGI.
As part of AllianzGI, DAI operates as the central client interface function to Allianz / AIM for their own account assets. As an intern within DAI, you will support the team in ensuring high quality service delivery to Allianz / AIM selected entities. This requires accomplishing tasks in the areas of Client relationships, operational account & project management individually and collectively as part of a cross-border team and a functional organization.
This internship is based in Paris. The position is to be filled for a duration of 6 months.

What you do
- Support Account Managers in their client facing activities (meeting preparation, analysis, data sourcing and checking)
- Contribute to various projects within the team (e.g. implementation of new managed mandates or funds along the whole asset management value chain; harmonization of activities along the whole asset management value chain, coordination of new business activities, handling of ESG related topics)
- Help in handling day-to-day client requests and business-related activities in cooperation with team colleagues and other AllianzGI functions
- Proactively suggest and implement tools to ease, automate and simplify team activities.
What you bring
- Ongoing higher education in a French Master (bac+5), or equivalent, in the area of business, economics, finance, engineering, or related field
- Enthusiasm to learn and contribute
- Hands on mentality
- Interest in bringing innovative ideas to concrete results
- Proven competence in project management
- Office365 mastery, especially on Excel
- AI prompts mastery, and willingness to share good practices with the team
- Ability to use Microsoft Copilot, with a strong commitment to ethical and responsible AI practices
- Proficiency in English and French both written and spoken
- Self-motivation and commitment
- Excellent relationship management, interpersonal and intercultural skills.
