You’ll join our Data Privacy Center of Expertise, supporting Thailand and other Southeast Asian countries. Reporting to the APAC Data Privacy Manager, you’ll partner with Business, Legal, IT, and Security. We work in an agile, risk-based, data-driven way—embedding privacy-by-design and using tools like OneTrust to scale.

What You’ll Do
- Advise Thai and SE Asia teams on privacy requirements, aligning Thailand PDPA and regional laws with Allianz Partners’ internal privacy governance.
- Lead Privacy Impact Assessments and risk assessments; apply practical controls and streamline workflows using tools like OneTrust.
- Embed privacy-by-design in new products and projects by partnering with Business, IT, Security, and Legal.
- Oversee data subject rights and incident workflows end-to-end, ensuring timely responses, clear communication, and effective remediation.
- Review data processing agreements and cross-border transfer approaches to meet regulatory and corporate standards.
- Build privacy awareness through targeted training and stakeholder engagement across in-scope entities.
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, IT, or a related field.
- Around 2+ years’ experience in privacy, compliance, risk, legal, cybersecurity, or related roles (multinational/regional exposure is a plus).
- Working knowledge of Thailand’s PDPA; familiarity with other SE Asia frameworks and GDPR is a plus.
- Strong English communication is required; Thai language skills are an advantage for local stakeholder engagement.
- Comfortable collaborating across functions and prioritizing in a fast-moving environment.
- Experience with OneTrust or similar tools, and/or certifications (CIPM, CIPP/E, CIPT, AIGP, CPDSE, OneTrust) are nice to have—not deal breakers.
What Success Looks Like
- Privacy-by-design and risk-based PIAs are embedded in key initiatives, with faster turnaround and fit-for-purpose controls in OneTrust.
- DSRs and incidents are routinely handled within SLAs, supported by clear playbooks, metrics, and concise reporting to the APAC Data Privacy Manager.
- You’re a trusted partner to stakeholders in Thailand and the region, with standardized DPAs and a visible uplift in privacy awareness.
