As Regional Head of Network – Specialty Lines (APAC) at Allianz Partners, you will develop, strengthen, and monitor the provider network across our Specialty Lines businesses — spanning Automotive Warranty, Mobile Device & Digital Risk (MDDR), and Easy Living — ensuring best-in-class service quality and cost competitiveness for our clients and business partners. Reporting to the Global Head of Network and directly leading Network Managers across APAC countries including Australia, India, China, Thailand, Indonesia, MENA, Hong Kong, and Singapore, you will implement strategic initiatives and shape the regional vision for network development. This is a full-time, permanent leadership role open to candidates based in Bangkok (Thailand), Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia), or Beijing (China) — for a commercially sharp, people-oriented professional ready to make a visible impact at a global scale.

What You'll Do

  • Develop, design, and implement network strategy across Specialty Lines Lines of Business (Automotive Warranty, MDDR, and Easy Living) in the APAC region
  • Directly lead and develop a team of Network Managers across APAC countries, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • Develop, monitor, and steer network performance with providers, ensuring service levels, quality standards, and cost targets are consistently met
  • Manage relationships with assistance providers, ensuring SLAs are met, driving continuous improvement, and leading pricing negotiations
  • Negotiate, manage, and maintain global frame agreements — from legal term definition through to contract termination, compliance, and fraud management
  • Identify cost competitiveness initiatives and design business cases to support network optimisation
  • Support tenders and sales effectiveness by providing network insights and solutions aligned with business development plans
  • Define and harmonise optimised network process standards across the APAC region
  • Identify, manage, and roll out cost efficiency initiatives across APAC Business Units
  • Increase the use of digital channels with service providers and drive end-to-end digital management
  • Collaborate with Allianz Partners Business Units across APAC to implement strategic initiatives aligned with global development plans
  • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, assistance providers, and relevant parties to ensure alignment and collaboration across all markets

What You'll Bring

  • Solid experience in network management, vendor management, or provider relations — ideally within insurance, assistance, automotive, or technology services
  • Proven experience leading and developing teams across multiple markets in a regional or global capacity — direct people management experience is essential
  • Strong understanding of network management principles including performance optimisation, cost management, and service quality governance
  • Proven experience managing SLAs, pricing negotiations, and contracts with external service providers
  • Proficiency in contract management — including defining service scope, performance metrics, and compliance requirements
  • Familiarity with assistance technologies and platforms such as telecommunication systems, device and car OEM services, contact center solutions, and provider portal tools
  • Experience in planning and executing network-related projects, including provider integrations
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and quality standards applicable to assistance services — including GDPR and data privacy best practices
  • Strong stakeholder communication and influencing skills — able to align diverse internal and external audiences across multiple markets and cultures
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to identify cost efficiency opportunities and build supporting business cases
  • Familiarity with AI-powered tools for network monitoring, performance analytics, or digital service management is an advantage
  • Fluent in English — both written and verbal; additional Asian language proficiency is an advantage given the regional scope

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary and performance-based bonus
  • Provident fund or statutory retirement contributions in line with local employment standards
  • Comprehensive health insurance coverage
  • Flexible working arrangements
  • Annual leave and public holidays in line with local employment standards
