Are you a seasoned operations leader with a passion for building high-performing teams and delivering exceptional service? As Senior Manager – Automotive Extended Warranty Operations at Allianz Partners in Bangkok, you will take ownership of a dynamic, end-to-end operations function spanning claims adjudication, contact center management, and policy administration — serving customers across the automotive extended warranty space. Leading a team of 30–40 professionals, you will drive operational excellence, shape service standards, and play a key role in the strategic direction of the department. This is a high-impact leadership role where your decisions directly influence customer outcomes, cost efficiency, and team capability.
What You'll Do
- Manage and oversee the end-to-end adjudication of claims for used car and extended warranties, ensuring full compliance with company policies and industry standards
- Lead and coordinate three operational teams — Claims, Contact Center, and Policy Administration — under the Automotive Extended Warranty Operations umbrella, with a primary focus on claims performance
- Develop and implement cost optimization strategies for claims and warranty processes to meet financial targets
- Monitor and continuously improve turnaround times (TAT) for claims processing and payments, ensuring prompt and accurate resolution for customers
- Oversee contact center operations, ensuring service levels, quality standards, and customer satisfaction metrics are consistently achieved
- Manage policy administration workflows, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in policy issuance and maintenance
- Address and resolve operational escalations swiftly, maintaining smooth workflow across all three teams
- Establish and maintain work procedures and processes that align with company and departmental standards and strategic directives
- Provide input to strategic decisions affecting the functional area, including contributing to annual budget development and resource planning
- Identify and act on opportunities to improve productivity within existing processes
- Manage department employees through subordinate managers and team leads, with full accountability for performance management, retention, and hiring
- Foster a high-quality work environment that motivates team members to perform at their best
- Drive team engagement and support personal development through structured Learning & Development (L&D) initiatives
What You'll Bring
- Proven experience managing and leading multi-functional teams, ideally in an insurance operations or automotive warranty environment
- Mandatory experience in motor insurance or auto warranty claims at a management level
- Experience overseeing or collaborating with contact center and/or policy administration functions is a strong advantage
- Demonstrated ability to manage teams of 30+ members, including through subordinate managers or team leads
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; Thai language proficiency is an advantage
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a track record of driving operational improvements
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Familiarity with claims management systems, CRM platforms, or contact center technology is a plus
- Exposure to AI-powered tools for claims processing, workflow automation, or data analytics is an advantage
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
