What You Will Do:

  • Handle inbound customer inquiries via phone and email with professionalism, empathy, and efficiency.
  • Anticipate customer needs and provide accurate, timely, and relevant solutions.
  • Build rapport with customers to ensure satisfaction and a positive experience.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of existing products, new offerings, and policy updates to effectively support customer needs.
  • Accurately input and maintain customer information in CRM systems (e.g., PeopleSoft) in accordance with established guidelines.
  • Research customer accounts and resolve pending policy inquiries, including Bankcard-related requests.
  • Respond to inbound calls from credit card holders regarding benefits, claims, and policy-related questions.
  • Initiate and support the claims process by providing documentation, forms, and status updates as requested.
  • Escalate complex customer concerns to management when resolution cannot be achieved independently.
  • Collaborate with team members to support customer service needs and maintain team efficiency.
  • Work effectively in an environment shaped by artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, data analytics and cloud-based tools, using insights responsibly with our standards of data governance, security and ethical use.

 

What You Will Bring:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a customer service or call center environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong customer service mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality support.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • While this role is fully remote, candidates must reside in either Virginia or Florida and have a reasonable commute to our Richmond, VA or Lakeland, FL offices. You may be asked to come to the office on occasion for special events. 

 

What We Offer:

 

Annualized base pay is $33,516-49,157

 

Actual base pay may vary based upon factors such as relevant experience, qualifications, internal equity of peers, and geographic location. Employees may also qualify for performance-based bonuses, merit increases, and other incentives based on individual and company performance. The availability and amount of these additional compensation elements are determined by company policy and may vary.
