Senior Analyst

Join us now as Analyst/ Senior Analyst in Hong Kong within the China Equity team. In this role, you will be responsible for Investment recommendations on a tiered coverage list of stocks. Stock coverage lists will be assigned and amended progressively based on business needs. Primarily cover China Industrial sector and any other relevant subsectors, including both China onshore (“A” shares) and offshore markets.

What you do

• Maintain a reasonable and auditable trail of quantitative forecasts and history of the earnings, valuation as well as qualitative analysis of the companies under your assigned coverage list.
• Liaise with, communicate, and convey investment recommendations and accompanying analysis to the investment team and clients (as required) in a timely and regular manner as needed.
• Consistently over the medium term (1-3 years) correctly predict (as measured by your recommendations) stocks that will contribute to positive relative performance of designated portfolios consisting of stocks assigned to your coverage list.
• Consistently model to a defined and required level of accuracy the fundamental prospects of individual company under your coverage as defined by the coverage list.
• Accomplishing this through a detailed company model (uploaded in Chatter) consisting of P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow Statement as well as valuation sheet.

What you bring

• Degree holder
• Fluency in English and Mandarin
• 8+ years of relevant research experience
• CFA preferable
• AI skills: Business Intelligence, Data Analytics
