Job Purpose/Role:

We are looking for a highly motivated and curious person to join our Global Investment Platform as a Portfolio Manager (m/f/d), supporting our growing team located in Luxembourg. In this role you will take an active part in the whole life cycle of illiquid alternative investment funds and segregated accounts with various internal and external interfaces.

 

What you do:

Focusing on investments in infrastructure equity, you will take responsibility for:

  • Supporting the management of holding companies with setting up business plans and continuously following up on developments over time, liquidity management, preparation and detailed analysis of financial packages, internal financing / transfer pricing, ongoing performance monitoring of underlying assets, and preparation of respective decisions
  • Developing, maintaining and optimizing tools for ongoing performance monitoring
  • Setting up, updating and optimizing financial models
  • Other day-to-day business of portfolio management
  • Coordination of internal and external partners
  • Continuously optimizing processes and tools in place as well as automation of repetitive tasks to free up resources to add value

 

What you bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in economics or related field, master's degree and / or additional qualifications (e.g. CA, CFA, CAIA, CFDS) desired
  • Several years of related experience (e.g. portfolio management, asset management, transaction advisory or related)
  • Financial modeling skills and valuation experience, accounting background desired
  • Some knowledge of the regulatory and tax environment of Luxembourg would be an asset
  • Robust problem-solving skills as well as the ability to multi-task and handle deadlines without supervision
  • Experience in working in a dynamic and close-knit atmosphere, being able to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships in a global business environment
  • Highly proficient in MS Office (Word, Power Point, and Excel), PowerBI, PowerAutomate, Claude and related
  • Fluent in English
