Job Purpose / Role:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced person to join our Global Investment Platform as a Portfolio Manager, supporting our growing team located in Luxembourg. In this role you will take an active part in the whole life cycle of illiquid alternative investment funds and segregated accounts with various internal and external interfaces.

What you do:

• Taking ownership of dedicated illiquid alternative investment funds and segregated accounts, focusing on investments in private debt
• Portfolio analysis, optimization and strategy
• Taking charge of investment decisions, including:
  • the role of decision-making body within AIFM, ensuring close collaboration in the fund-related bodies
  • the set-up and maintenance of business plans for funds under management
  • the assumptions of directorship / manager functions within related entities
• Day-to-day business of portfolio management, including liquidity management
• Implementation and optimization of the fund structures in compliance with tax-related and regulatory requirements, close collaboration with team members and other colleagues
• Coordination of internal and external partners

What you bring:

• Bachelor's degree in economics or related field, master's degree and / or additional qualifications (e.g. CA, CFA, CAIA, CFDS) desired
• 5 years or more of related experience (e.g. portfolio management, asset management, transaction advisory or structuring especially in relation to private credit or direct lending)
• Financial modeling skills and valuation experience
• Some knowledge of the regulatory and tax environment of Luxembourg would be an asset
• Robust problem-solving skills as well as the ability to multi-task and handle deadlines without supervision
• Experience in working in a dynamic and close-knit atmosphere, being able to work both independently and as part of a team
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships in a global business environment
• Highly proficient in MS Office (Word, Power Point, and Excel)
• Fluent in English
