Job Purpose

The Actuarial Intern will support the distribution team in analyzing data, performing calculations, and assisting with projects that drive distribution strategies. This role offers hands-on experience in applying actuarial principles within the insurance industry.You will collaborate with various external and internal stakeholders and support the regional team in different projects, contributing by leveraging actuarial technical knowledge to explain movements in financial results to distribution and other non-technical teams.

This is your chance to gain insights and valuable practical experience in the financial services and insurance industry, more specifically in the areas of actuarial analysis and distribution communication, all while working in an international environment with extensive regional exposure to various markets in Asia.

What you do

You will

▪ Assisting in the data preparation and analysis of distribution activities.   
▪ Analyse data on premium and profit. 
▪ Work closely with Actuarial to understand profit movements. 
▪ Participate in projects that enhance your understanding of insurance products and distribution. 
▪ Manage internal stakeholders across the region. 
▪ Any other duties as needed.  
 

What you bring

▪ Analytical, curious, and structured problem‑solver; comfortable working with data.
▪ Excellent command of Excel and Visual Basic and AI skills like ChatGPT or Copilot will be an advantage

▪ Self-driven and independent working style

▪ Effective communication skills with a team-oriented approach
▪ Attention to detail and problem solving skills.
▪ Clear written and verbal communicator; able to collaborate in a fast‑paced, regional environment.
