Your Role in Our Team

Join us as an intern at Allianz SE Reinsurance Branch Asia Pacific in our Property & Casualty team, where you'll gain hands-on experience in both Underwriting and Client Management. This is a fantastic opportunity for students or recent graduates to explore the world of insurance and make a real impact. You will work alongside experienced professionals, contributing to exciting projects that help shape the future of reinsurance.

How You Will Contribute

•    You will learn about AZRE’s Asia Pacific business portfolio and strategy.
•    You will assist the team in drafting and preparing business cases and research papers.
•    You will prepare creative and engaging presentation slides for client meetings and internal discussions.
•    You will enhance your analytical skills by supporting the analysis of portfolio performance, conducting data analysis on pricing models, and providing general support for pricing activities.
•    You will help define new and efficient workflows to improve business productivity by leveraging Allianz Re’s in-house AI platform.
•    You will play a part in gathering data and performing market analysis. 
•    You will be involved in reviewing and finalizing contract wordings in line with Allianz Re Underwriting Guidelines.
•    You will meaningfully contribute to organizing fun and engaging Corporate Responsibility events and company initiatives.
•    You will have the opportunity to further develop industry-relevant skills and knowledge.

What You Bring to the Table

•    You are able to commit for 6 to 7 months (January – June/July 2027), with a minimum of 3 full days per week. Priority will be given to candidates who can commit full-time.
•    You are currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
•    You are fluent in English. Fluency in other Asian languages is an advantage.
•    You have a strong desire to learn and prepare for a career in the insurance industry.
•    You are a team player with a service-oriented mindset, and you are adaptable, analytical, meticulous, proactive, and self-motivated.
•    You are comfortable using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
•    You are comfortable using AI tools as part of your daily work
