Job Purpose

You will play a crucial role in supporting the Legal and Data Privacy team, focusing on legal research, contractreview, administer trainings and other data privacy related initiatives. This provides a unique opportunity to gainhands-on experience in a dynamic corporate environment, working alongside experienced professionals to ensure that Allianz Asia Pacific and its operating entities (OEs) adheres to legal standards and privacy regulations.

 

What you do

1. Legal research and contract review

  • Conduct research on various legal topics, including data protection laws, regulatory compliance and otherindustry-specific legislation.
  • Assist in the drafting and review of contracts and other legal documents.
  • Conduct research and assist the team to stay updated on new laws and regulations that may impact AllianzAsia Pacific and its OEs.

2. Data privacy support

  • Assist in the implementation of data privacy policies and procedures.
  • Support the team in conducting data privacy impact assessments and records of processing activities.
  • Assist with management of personal data breaches and reporting.
  • Administer and facilitate data privacy trainings, workshops and meetings.

3. Cross-functional collaboration

  • Work collaboratively with various departments to ensure alignment and understanding of legal and data privacyrequirements.

 

What you bring

  • 0-3 years of relevant working experience
  • Recent graduate or currently pursuing a diploma, degree or other professional qualification in Law, or a related field.
  • Self-motivated, curious and have a strong desire to learn.
  • Strong interest in legal and data privacy matters.
  • Excellent research, analytical and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Fluent verbal and written English and second Asian language (Mandarin strongly preferred).
  • Ability to multitask and work on various matters at the same time
