We are looking for a Regional Head of Organizational Management, Asia, based in Singapore.

 

The Impact You Will Have

The Regional Head of Organizational Management, Asia drives organizational effectiveness, productivity, and simplification within the region by translating enterprise GOM frameworks into tangible business outcomes. The role acts as a strategic integrator, aligning regional priorities with global capabilities and ensuring adoption and impact. They are accountable for adoption and impact of the GOM model in the region, translates global methodologies into regional initiatives, prioritizes regional demand, integrates functional needs across the region and ensures regional leadership teams use global capabilities effectively. The regional head owns the outcome in the region and has orchestration authority i.e convenes functions, identified opportunities, drives adoption and escalates blockers and tailors within guardrails in  alignment with the strategic goals and play a critical part in the company's pursuit of operational excellence by driving productivity at the highest levels. They must leverage GOM capabilities, methodologies, and specialist resources to drive regional transformation, simplification, and operating model effectiveness.

 

You will oversee a regional team, ensuring all contribute to the overarching vision of both the region and Global Organizational Management. The role requires a balance of strategic vision and practical implementation, demanding a hands-on approach to developing and governing global process taxonomies, improving core insurance delivery, and ensuring process oversight. Additionally, the Regional Head contributes to the development and refinement of the global target operating model, ensuring it aligns not only with regional goals but also with the company's global vision and strategic objectives. Furthermore, the regional head must foster collaboration across regions and with the Global Head to ensure consistency in process governance, global process taxonomies, and operational excellence initiatives. Through these efforts, the Regional Head of Organizational Management ensures that AZ Commercial is well-positioned to adapt to changing market conditions and maintains a competitive edge through efficient and effective organizational management.

 

Some of your specific responsibilities could include:

Regional Organizational Effectiveness

  • Define and lead the regional agenda for productivity, simplification, and operating model improvement.
  • Identify opportunities across functions (Underwriting, Claims, Operations, Finance, etc.).
  • Align initiatives with regional business priorities and strategy.

               

Translation & Application of Global Frameworks

  • Apply GOM methodologies, standards, and toolkits within the regional context.
  • Tailor enterprise frameworks pragmatically while remaining within defined guardrails.
  • Ensure consistent use of enterprise approaches across the region.

 

Integration & Orchestration Across Functions

  • Act as a central integrator across regional leadership teams.
  • Break silos and align cross-functional initiatives.
  • Ensure end-to-end thinking in organizational and process improvements.

 

Mobilization of Global Capabilities

  • Leverage GOM expertise (org design, automation, process optimization, rightshoring) to support regional initiatives.
  • Broker access to specialist resources and ensure effective deployment.
  • Balance regional demand with available global capacity..

 

Delivery & Benefit Realization

  • Drive execution of regional initiatives and ensure measurable outcomes.
  • Track productivity and simplification benefits within the region.
  • Ensure sustainable adoption of changes.

 

Feedback & Continuous Improvement

  • Reporting regional performance/impact back to GOM.
  • Provide structured feedback to GOM on effectiveness of methodologies and frameworks.
  • Identify gaps, improvement areas, and emerging regional needs and contribute to evolution of enterprise standards.

Education / Certifications:

  • Bachelor degree in a related field
  • Professional Training Qualification preferred, e.g. OPEX, Lean 6 Sigma, PRINCE II, MSP, ITIL, OPS Management
