Job Purpose

The role will support the regional office and the Operating Entities (OEs) to achieve goals from the riskmanagement perspectives by managing the Risk & Capital at the OEs in the region.

 

What you do

You will:

  • Oversee the coverage of the regional L&H insurance companies in all Risk Management related matters. andserves as the main contact point for the local risk management function
  • Lead the design, development, implementation and monitoring of risk management systems, methodologies,models, and governance for L&H insurance companies across the region
  • Coordinates Solvency II implementation across the region
  • Monitoring of the Life new business mix and products and related Risk KPIs. Provides solutions to any riskrelated issues that may arise either in new business monitoring or new product development
  • Provides trainings to local risk management teams as required
  • Asset-and Liability Management for L&H insurance companies

 

What you bring

  • Relevant university degree and professional qualifications (e.g. FRM, CFA, Actuarial)
  • Fluent in English, Chinese
  • A strong understanding of Life insurance, from a risk, financial, actuarial, product and operational point of view
  • Experience in ALM, market, credit, business and biometric risk management, including various quantitative risk measures
  • Understanding of Asian regulatory environments as well as familiarity with Solvency 2
  • 7+ years of experience in Life Insurance business in Asia
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skill
  • Excellent communication skill
  • Very strong stakeholder management ability
  • Strong team player with good interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • Project management skill & previous experience
  • Interest to get familiar with Asian regulatory requirements and Allianz Corporate rules, and coordinating theimplementation of S2 standard model or transition to S2 internal model at some Life & Health entities in Asia
  • AI-future skills e.g. ChatGPT and Copilot an advantage
