Job Purpose

This role is a key strategic position within the regional distribution, marketing and strategy team, responsible for shaping and activating integrated customer and distributor propositions that unlock growth across agency and partnerships (banks, brokers & others). Propositions are developed from deep distribution and customer insights and then embedded into distribution strategies — ensuring they deliver both customer value and frontline sales success.
The role partners across product, health, marketing, and local market teams to design high-impact segment strategies, innovative solutions, and field-ready activation campaigns that deliver against business KPIs — customer and distribution growth.

 

What you do

1. Strategic Proposition Developmen

• Develop end-to-end customer and distributor propositions that drive growth across both agency and partnerships.
• Create modular, journey-based propositions that combine product, service, wellness, and CX elements, designed to fit diverse channel needs.
• Translate propositions into scalable campaigns, tools, and sales narratives for local deployment.
• Shape customer-led, insight-driven propositions by embedding market research, customer testing, and distributor feedback into every stage of design.
• Drive the full lifecycle of propositions — from concept and pilot to scale-up and continuous enhancement — ensuring impact is measurable and repeatable


2. Innovation & Distribution Go-to-Marke

• Partner with product and health teams to co-develop customer-relevant solutions tailored to channel and segment needs.
• Serve as the bridge between solution design and frontline success — ensuring propositions are sales-ready, compelling, and distinctive.
• Identify and package differentiators that create competitive advantage in high-priority market segments.
• Integrate ecosystem and partnership value into propositions, combining protection with wellness, digital engagement, and lifestyle services that resonate with evolving customer needs


3. Customer Value & Proposition Excellenc

•  Ensure that product constructs and solution design support both customer value and distributor success.
•  Use insights and data to highlight protection gaps, segment needs, and opportunities for tailored propositions.
•  Support the development of tools and dashboards to track adoption, persistency, and performance, using results to refine future strategies.
•  Partner on post-launch reviews to capture learnings and optimize future designs.
•  Establish a regional proposition framework that guides local market adaptations, ensuring consistency in value story while enabling local flexibility


4. Customer Segmentation & Growth Strateg

•  Shape the regional customer segmentation agenda — defining value pools, penetration gaps, and new opportunities.
•  Build tailored value propositions for high-potential segments e.g. mass affluent, HNW, gig economy, and young professionals.
•  Translate segmentation insights into propositions that both address unmet customer needs and enable distribution to compete more effectively in high-potential segments.
•  Drive activation strategies that improve acquisition, deepen engagement, and increase share of wallet across segments.

 

5. Distribution Engagement & Capability Activatio

•  Work closely with agency and partnerships leaders to embed propositions into frontline execution — through sales tools, distributor journeys, and enablement programs.
•  Support growth enablement via flagship learning initiatives and programs aligned to strategic campaigns.
•  Develop distributor engagement plans that reinforce Allianz’s value story and elevate professional positioning.
•  Integrate propositions into distributor engagement, ensuring they become practical enablers for acquisition, cross-sell, and retention.

 

6. Flagship Campaigns & Regional Activatio

•  Lead or co-lead flagship growth initiatives such as the INSEAD program, FCB Olympics, Distribution Triathlon campaigns, SheSecures female segment propositions, and partnership activations with banks and brokers.
•  Build activation toolkits and campaign strategies that integrate brand, product, and segment needs into a unified growth narrative.
•  Localize and co-create market-specific rollouts in collaboration with local distribution and marketing teams.

 

7. Cross-Functional Orchestratio

•  Act as the integrator across health, product, actuarial, marketing, and distribution — ensuring growth programs are cohesive and insight-led.
•  Lead proposition steering forums, cross-market alignment calls, and working groups to accelerate execution.
•  Drive impact tracking and feedback loops to continuously refine and improve proposition performance.

 

What you bring

•  10+ years of experience in life insurance or financial services across strategy, distribution, product marketing, or customer propositions.
•  Familiarity with product constructs and ability to translate technical concepts into commercially compelling solutions.
•  Proven experience working with multi-channel distribution (agency, bank, broker) and cross-functional teams.
•  Strong strategic thinking and execution skills — able to go from concept to market delivery.
•  Experience with customer segmentation, sales enablement, and innovation-led growth.
•  Excellent communication and influencing skills, with ability to work across seniority levels and diverse marke

•  AI-Skills e.g. ChatGPT or Copilot an advantage
