Client Due Diligence Manager - Limited to 12-months

Join us now as Client Due Diligence Manager in Taiwan within the AP Client Due Diligence Services team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing customer due diligence processes for Taiwan clients and ensuring compliance with AllianzGI's global Anti‑Money Laundering (AML) and Counter‑Terrorist Financing (CTF) standard

What you do

• Perform Customer Due Diligence (CDD) and Know Your Customer (KYC) processes for new client onboarding, periodic reviews, trigger events, and offboarding, ensuring full adherence to global AML/CTF policies and Taiwan regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate and collect required client documentation from internal business teams, clients, or public sources as appropriate.
• Review, validate, and update Investor Profile and Suitability Assessment questionnaires (KYC forms).
• Manage and assess sanctions, PEPs, RCA, and adverse media alerts generated from the Global Sanctions Screening System (GSSS), escalating as necessary.
• Review and analyze suspicious activity or transaction reports in collaboration with business teams and Anti‑Financial Crime Compliance (AFCC).
• Serve as a key liaison with AFCC, business teams, transfer agents, Legal, and Internal Audit to support and resolve CDD‑related matters.
• Contribute to cross‑functional initiatives, including the implementation of new AML/CTF policies, procedures, and system enhancements.
• Provide guidance, training, and support to internal stakeholders on CDD requirements, process improvements, and best practices.

What you bring

• 3–5 years' experience in AML, KYC, or compliance within financial services (fund industry preferred)
• SITCA registered license required
• Strong English language skills (written and spoken)
• Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities; able to prioritize and work independently
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration
• Skilled in research, analysis, and documentation
• Effective time management and keen attention to detail
• Professionalism, integrity, sound judgment, and accountability
• Team player with initiative for resolving issues and improving processes
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint; knowledge of Power BI and AI tools is an advantage
• AI skills: AIOps, Data Analytics, Data Management, Generative AI, UI Path
