Specialist - Fund Accounting

Join us now as Specialist – Fund Accounting in Taiwan within the Trade Support Team of Fund Accounting.

Trade Support will be responsible for execution of trade confirmation, settlement, reconciliation of holdings and cash position, static data set up and account opening. This team acts as a critical partner to trading, fund managers and business operations, ensuring operational excellence, risk management and supporting Taiwan business growth.

What you do

• Assist with trade confirmation and settlement activities across global and local securities and financial instruments. Coordinate with brokers, custodians and counterparties to ensure trades are settled accurately and on time. Investigate and resolve failed trade issues, driving effective and timely remediation.
• Support the investigation and resolution of trade settlement issues, including failed or unmatched trades, by following up under guidance from senior team members.
• Perform daily reconciliation of holdings and cash positions between funds/mandates and custodians, and escalate discrepancies to senior staff for review and resolution.
• Process corporate action, instruction issuance, and confirmations with custodians and counterparties. Partner closely with Portfolio Manager to ensure all corporate action elections are executed accurately and on time.
• Support account opening, registration, and static data setup with brokers, custodians, and relevant market infrastructures to ensure data accuracy and operational readiness.
• Complete tasks assigned by supervisors.
• Support system enhancement initiatives and participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) for FA system.
• Possess digital literacy or demonstrate strong willingness to adopt and learn digital tools.

What you bring

• Licenses: Senior Securities Specialist, SITE, and SICE licenses.
• Bachelor's degree in business or related field.
• Skilled in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Fluent Mandarin; strong English reading and writing skills.
• Effective communicator with strong interpersonal abilities.
• Detail-oriented, accountable, and committed to quality results.
• Proven problem-solving and independent task management abilities.
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and quick to learn in fast-paced settings.
• Capable of working under pressure with a positive, solution-focused attitude.
• Trade support or settlement operations experience.
• Experience in financial institutions like fund houses, global custodian banks, or international brokerage firms.
• Familiarity with financial instruments and market practices, including bonds, equities, FX, futures, repo, and corporate actions. Experience
