Specialist - Fund Accounting TW

Join us now as Specialist – Fund Accounting in Taiwan within the Back Office of Fund Accounting team.

What you do

•  Perform daily accounting operations for funds and discretionary accounts to complete NAV calculation, including review procedures.
• Conduct monthly regulatory filings for funds and discretionary accounts in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Carry out annual closing activities for funds and discretionary accounts to ensure timely completion of annual financial statement submissions.
• Maintain and preserve accounting vouchers, ledgers, and related documents in accordance with regulatory requirements.
• Prepare and verify fund valuation prices to ensure compliance with Taiwan pricing rules and the trust deed.
• Complete tasks assigned by supervisors.
• Support system enhancement initiatives and participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) for FA system.
• Possess digital literacy or demonstrate strong willingness to adopt and learn digital tools.

What you bring

• Required licenses of Senior Securities Specialist, SITE, and SICE
• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field
• Skilled in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Fluent in Mandarin with solid English reading and writing
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills
• Detail-oriented, responsible, delivers quality results
• Strong problem-solving, works independently
• Self-motivated, adaptable, quick learner
• Works well under pressure, positive mindset
• Experience in fund accounting/settlement operations
• Background in financial institutions (fund house, custodian bank, brokerage firm)
• Knowledge of financial instruments: bonds, equities, FX, futures, repo, corporate action
• AI skills: ChatGPT, Microsoft CoPilot
