Sales Manager

Join us now as Sales Manager in Japan within the Japan Retail Sales, Distribution AP. In this role, you will be responsible for creating the documents which the outsourcing service provider provides for AGI Japan collaboratively, check and maintain the correctness and quality of the documents.

What you do

• Fund Documentation for Retail Public Funds
  • Fund registration statement (semi-annually): Creation, filing through FSA system (EDINET).
  • Securities/Fund report (semi-annually): Creation, filing through EDINET.
  • Interim-Financial report of Funds (semi-annually): Creation, filing through EDINET.
  • Extraordinary report (ad-hoc): Creation, filing through EDINET.
  • Prospectus for delivery (semi-annually): Creation, send to distributor, Hard documents delivered only upon request.
  • Trust deed: Creation (filing can be done by Japan Compliance through EDINET).

• Client Service Support for Public and Sub-advisory Businesses
  • Regular reports for existing clients: Creation, participate in the meeting/video call, etc.
  • RFI, RFP, KYC, Communication Letters on regulatory changes, new product launch, etc.: Creation, delivery.
  • On/Off-boarding: Execute, monitor and complete the procedures

What you bring

• University degree in Business, Economics, Accounting, Finance, or a related field with a focus on investments.
• 5-10 relevant years of experience, preferably in asset management companies / service providers in the financial services industry.
• Knowledge of asset management regulations and related requirements in terms of Regulatory Documents.
• Excellent communication skills with strong interpersonal skills and a consultative approach to problem-solving.
• Strong analytical mindset with solid problem-solving skills, and ability to identify core issues, investigate, evaluate and reach appropriate conclusions/solutions, manage the projects holistically.
• Sound knowledge of the Asset Management business with the full picture from front to back office, Sound fund accounting knowledge, knowledge of vendor systems such as NRI T-Star and Bloomberg are preferable.
• Accuracy and attention to detail, Ability to work with tight deadlines.
• Self-motivated and responsive to a changing environment.
• Team contributor.
• Fluency in English and Japanese.
• AI skills: ChatGPT, Microsoft CoPilot
