Working Student Infrastructure Leadership Support AGCS (m/f/d)
Unterföhring (bei München), DE, 85774
About the Job
The IF&IS EU101 team at Allianz Technology is the dedicated infrastructure and workplace delivery function for AGCS (Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty), one of the world’s leading corporate insurance carriers, serving employees across Europe, Asia-Pacific and North America.
As a working student, you will work directly with the Head of Infrastructure & Workplace Delivery for AGCS and the leadership team. This isn’t a back-office support role — you’ll be at the center of how a global IT infrastructure function is run, helping drive priorities, prepare leadership communications and keep the operational rhythm of the team on track.
What you do
- Support the Head of Infrastructure & Workplace Delivery in managing day-to-day priorities across a globally distributed team spanning EU, APAC, and North America.
- Prepare management summaries, status updates, and executive-level presentations for leadership reviews and SteerCos.
- Own the agenda preparation, logistics, and follow-up for leadership meetings, townhalls, and team forums.
- Chase and coordinate deliverables across regional teams to ensure priorities stay on track.
- Act as a delegate for operational requests and approvals in tools such as GIAM and ServiceNow (SNOW).
- Proactively identify opportunities to automate and improve team workflows using AI tools and help drive adoption across the team.
- Help organize and drive the cadence of recurring leadership and governance meetings.
What you bring
- Currently enrolled in a degree program in Business Administration, Business Informatics, IT, or a related field.
- AI-first mindset — you instinctively look for ways to automate, streamline, or delegate tasks to AI tools before doing them manually and you are excited to bring that thinking to others.
- Experience or strong interest in using AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, automation platforms) to improve everyday workflows and help teams work smarter.
- Excellent organizational skills: you can manage competing priorities, chase deliverables across time zones, and keep leadership meetings running on schedule.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint (executive-level presentations) and Excel (tracking, reporting).
- Confident communicator in English (written and spoken) — comfortable drafting management summaries and interacting with senior stakeholders.
- Proactive and self-driven: you spot what needs doing and propose how to get it done, ideally with an automated solution. German language skills are a plus but not required.
- You are available to start soon and interested in a working student position, part-time (16-20 h/week).
What we offer
- We offer flexible schedules aligned with your studies by tailoring your work hours to accommodate your academic commitments, providing the flexibility needed to effectively balance your work responsibilities and studies.
- We facilitate continuous learning opportunities by unlocking your potential with a complimentary LinkedIn Learning Account, empowering you to acquire new skills and stay ahead in your field. Explore various avenues for personal and professional development.
- We foster a dynamic and global team environment where you can collaborate with a highly talented, dynamic, and international team, fostering an environment where creativity and innovation thrive. Gain exposure to diverse perspectives that contribute to your personal and professional growth.
- We are offering a thriving and diverse student community, numerous networking opportunities to connect with like-minded peers, share experiences, and build valuable connections for your future.
- We offer a tax-exempt travel allowance of EUR 25 per month if you prefer to utilize your local public transportation system exclusively.
Need to know
- Requirement for internship and working student positions is the enrollment in a university – or (for an internship) a gap year.
- We can only consider your application if you provide the following documents:
- Certificate of enrollment (exception gap year)
- Valid Work and residence permit (for non-EU citizens). Please check before applying if you can work with your current VISA.
