- Recruit and select potential agents, identify high-potential prospective brokers/agents, and conduct structured interviews.
- Educate brokers/agents on how to effectively meet customers' needs and develop the right attitude toward the insurance business.
- Promote and educate brokers/agents on the use of resources from the Underwriting Department, such as market analysis and underwriting support, to help them manage a profitable book of business.
- Communicate with brokers/agents regarding new products and support the effective use of appropriate sales tools and promotional materials.
- Monitor brokers'/agents' regular activities through activity management and assist them in developing activity strategies to address customer service requirements, including claims inquiries and service requests.
- Provide necessary support to brokers/agents in generating new business opportunities.
- Monitor the performance and financial status of brokers/agents.
- Work closely with the Underwriting Team and Sales Support Unit to enhance new business opportunities.
- Develop business plans with the approval of the Branch Manager and BU Head, ensuring the achievement or exceedance of business goals and the effective implementation of strategies.
- Monitor branch profitability, productivity, and business development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in any field, with knowledge of General Insurance.
- Proficient in computer applications and digital tools.
- Possesses knowledge, skills, and experience in insurance marketing.
- Demonstrates strong English language proficiency in listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal coordination skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, particularly in agent management.
- Maintains a positive attitude with a strong willingness to listen, learn, and adapt to new challenges.
- Any AI-future skills e.g., ChatGPT, or CoPilot 365, will be an advantage.
