Job Summary:

  • Responsible for expanding the new customer base, including performing marketing activities in accordance with the defined plan.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Recruit and select potential agents by identifying and sourcing high-potential prospective brokers/agents and conducting structured interviews.
  • Provide education and guidance to brokers/agents to meet customer needs and develop the appropriate attitude for the insurance business.
  • Educate and promote the use of support from the Underwriting Department, such as market analysis and underwriting services, to help agents manage a profitable book of business.
  • Communicate with brokers/agents regarding new products and support the use of appropriate sales tools and promotional materials.
  • Monitor brokers’/agents’ regular activities through activity management and assist them in developing activity strategies to respond to customer service requirements, including claim inquiries and service requests.
  • Provide necessary support to brokers/agents in generating new business opportunities.
  • Monitor the performance and financial status of brokers/agents.
  • Work closely with the Underwriting Team and Sales Support Unit to enhance new business opportunities.
  • Develop business plans with approval from the Branch Manager and BU Head, meet or exceed assigned goals, and implement approved strategies.
  • Monitor branch profitability, productivity, and development.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in any field
  • Knowledge of insurance and marketing
  • Any AI-future skills e.g., ChatGPT, or CoPilot 365, will be an advantage.
