Application Portfolio Manager (m/f/d)

About the Job 

In the Tribe Central Functions, we hold local accountability for an extensive application portfolio of third-party providers, including global group applications, on which our business units rely heavily. For our newly created domain «Third-Party/Group Solutions», we are looking for an experienced, entrepreneurially minded personality to lead, coordinate and further develop this portfolio. In this key role, you will be the first point of contact for local business leads, orchestrate change initiatives across group entities, suppliers and business units, and support the Tribe Lead in strategic portfolio management – with the aim of delivering quality, stability and increased efficiency. 

What you do

• You are the single point of contact for local business leads in all matters relating to the Tribe’s third-party applications, with a primary focus on the finance core applications.
• You create transparency over all upcoming change initiatives within the portfolio, including alignment on funding.
• You steer the implementation of smaller change initiatives and align with Allianz group entities, Allianz Technology Local Branch, suppliers and local business leads.
• You monitor larger change initiatives and coordinate with project management and other stakeholders.
• You ensure an adequate target operating model and act as the first escalation point for business leads in the event of unresolved issues in the operation of third-party applications.
• You support the Tribe Lead in strategic portfolio management and actively contribute to increasing efficiency and reducing costs, in particular through the use of AI.

What you bring

• University degree as well as several years of experience with IT applications and projects in the finance area, plus an affinity for AI tools.
• Several years of experience in a corporate group environment as well as a pronounced ability for stakeholder management with a wide variety of counterparts, including executive level.
• Entrepreneurial mindset as well as a strong customer and solution orientation.
• High intellectual ability and motivation to familiarize yourself quickly with new topics.
• Very good command of the German and English languages, both spoken and written.
• Sound SAP (S/4HANA) knowledge.
• In-depth professional knowledge in finance / accounting.
• Experience and a personal network within the Allianz Group.
• Knowledge of agile project methodologies (e.g. SAFe).
