Specialist - A&H Claims Payment (ASO)

About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented Claims Payment Specialist (ASO) to manage and administer medical claims under Administrative Services Only (ASO) arrangements.
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate, timely claim processing while delivering a high standard of service to corporate clients and their employees. You will play a key part in driving operational excellence and client satisfaction through efficient claims assessment and collaboration with stakeholders.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Process and register medical claims under employer-sponsored benefit plans (ASO scheme)
- Review and verify claim submissions against health plan design, benefit schedules, and policy conditions
- Assess eligibility and approve claims within assigned authority, in line with plan limits and exclusions
- Coordinate with employer HR teams, healthcare providers, and internal stakeholders to resolve issues or obtain required documents
- Ensure all claims are processed within agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
- Prepare claims reports and provide insights on utilization, trends, and exceptions for corporate clients
- Support audits, quality assurance activities, and compliance with company policies and client requirements
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Medical Technology, or a related field
- At least 2 years of experience in:
- Claims administration (preferably medical or health insurance), OR
- Hospital/healthcare settings (e.g., billing, patient administration, insurance coordination)
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Good communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment
- Any AI-future skills e.g., ChatGPT, or CoPilot365, will be advantage.
