Client Strategist

The Client Strategist (CS) serves as a key link between the investment team and client facing functions. The role is responsible for articulating our investment strategies, delivering high quality investment communication, supporting distribution partners, and enhancing client understanding of portfolio positioning, performance, and market views. The CS enables portfolio managers to focus on alpha generation while ensuring consistent, timely, and compelling communication to clients and prospects.
What you will do
Client & Distribution Support
- Act as a subject matter expert for assigned investment strategies in client meetings, due diligence, and RFP processes.
- Partner with Sales and Relationship Management teams to support business development and client retention efforts.
- Provide clear explanations of investment philosophy, process, positioning, risk drivers, and performance attribution.
Investment Communication
- Prepare and maintain client ready materials including presentations, commentaries, market insights, and quarterly reports.
- Translate complex investment concepts into accessible and insightful narratives tailored to various audiences.
- Ensure consistency and accuracy of messaging across all client communications.
Portfolio & Market Insights
- Monitor portfolio positioning, factor exposures, risk attribution, and performance trends to identify key drivers and themes.
- Produce timely market updates, investment narratives, and talking points for distribution teams.
- Support the development of thought leadership content in collaboration with investment and marketing teams.
Internal Collaboration
- Work closely with Portfolio Managers, Product, Marketing, and Sales to support the commercial success of equity strategies.
- Contribute to product development ideas and competitive positioning analysis.
- Ensure compliance with internal guidelines and regulatory requirements in all communications.
What you bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field; CFA or similar certifications are a plus.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in investment management, wealth management, or related capital market roles.
- Strong understanding of equities, fixed income, and multi asset investment products.
- Good analytical skills with the ability to interpret market trends and fund performance.
- Excellent communication skills; able to explain investment concepts clearly to clients and internal teams.
- Comfortable preparing presentations, market updates, and product materials.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with Bloomberg/Refinitiv is an advantage.
- Client focused mindset with strong collaboration skills.
- High attention to detail, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interest in financial markets and continuous learning.
- Experience with Microsoft CoPilot and Data Analytics.
