Join us now as Analyst and Associate Portfolio Manager in Indonesia within the Asia Pacific Fixed Income team. In this role, you will be responsible for Analyst and Associate Portfolio Manager within the Asia Pacific Fixed Income team based in Jakarta

 

 

What you do

 

·   Conduct fundamental credit analysis on corporate and sovereign issuers in accordance with the firm’s global credit research framework, including financial analysis, industry assessment, ESG considerations, and risk evaluation.

·   Prepare credit recommendations and investment views to support portfolio positioning, relative value assessment, and investment decision-making across fixed income strategies.

·   Monitor existing portfolio holdings and market developments to identifying potential credit risks, rating migration risks, and investment opportunities on a timely basis.

·   Collaborate closely with Portfolio Managers in portfolio construction, trade evaluation, risk monitoring, and overall investment strategy implementation.

·   Participate actively in investment discussions and internal debates across asset classes, contributing views not only on credit markets but also on broader macroeconomic and market developments.

·   Engage with issuers, sell-side analysts, rating agencies, and other market participants to gather insights and maintain up-to-date market intelligence.

·   Support the regional team in preparation of investment materials, market outlooks, presentation decks, and periodic investment updates for internal and external stakeholders.

·   Contribute to regional investment initiatives and cross-country collaboration within the broader investment platform.

·   Maintain high standards of research quality, documentation, and compliance with internal investment policies and regulatory requirements.

·   Assist in developing internal investment ideas, thematic research, and portfolio strategy discussions as part of the broader investment team.

 

 

What you bring

 

·   Strong understanding of fixed income markets and credit analysis.

·   Strong analytical skills to interpret financials, assess credit risk, and identify relative value.

·   Good grasp of macroeconomic trends and their market impact.

·   Familiarity with corporate, sovereign, and/or sector analysis preferred.

·   Clear written and verbal communication of investment views and recommendations.

·   Strong teamwork and collaboration skills in a debate-driven environment.

·   Proactive, curious, and eager to learn in dynamic markets.

·   Professional, accountable, and detail-oriented.

·   Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint; Bloomberg or market data platform experience a plus.

·   Relevant experience in asset management, investment research, fixed income, banking, or financial services preferred.

·   Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or related field; CFA progress a plus.

·   AI skills: Data Reporting, Data Visualization, MS CoPilot
