What you do:
Responsible for reviewing and approving US‑facing marketing and advertising materials to ensure compliance with FINRA Rule 2210, applicable SEC requirements, and AllianzGI internal marketing compliance standards. The role provides regulatory guidance to Marketing and Distribution teams and supports AllianzGI’s cross‑border marketing governance.
- Act as the designated reviewer for US‑facing marketing and advertising materials distributed by AllianzGI entities.
- Review and approve marketing materials prior to use, including websites, social media, presentations, brochures, advertisements, emails, videos, and third‑party content.
- Apply FINRA Rule 2210 standards to ensure communications are fair, balanced, and not misleading.
- Assess performance presentations, testimonials, endorsements, and third‑party ratings for compliance with FINRA and SEC Marketing Rule.
- Identify required revisions and clearly communicate compliance feedback to business partners.
- Serve as a compliance subject‑matter expert to marketing, product, sales, and advisory teams.
- Provide guidance on new marketing initiatives, digital campaigns, and emerging communication channels.
- Support regulatory filings and responses related to advertising reviews when required.
What you bring:
- Strong working knowledge of FINRA Rule 2210 and SEC Marketing Rule and advertising requirements, and relevant state regulations.
- Relevant experience in marketing/advertising compliance within an asset manager, broker‑dealer, or investment firm.
- Clear, pragmatic communication style and ability to work with senior stakeholders across functions.
- 6+ years of experience required.
- You must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring immigration sponsorship now or in the future. This includes holders of H-1B, H4, L-1, L-2, TN, OPT, CPT, and other nonimmigrant visas.
Job posting range: $155,000 - $170,000
Note the job posting range is exclusive of company benefits or other compensation. This role is also eligible for an annual incentive program. If you are hired, your final base salary will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, experience, skills, competencies, and/or education. In addition to those factors, we will also consider internal equity of our current employees. Please keep in mind that the range provided is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at or near the maximum of the range would not be typical to allow for future and continued salary growth.
