What you do:

Support a more senior member of the Infrastructure Debt team.  Screen opportunities inlcuding discussions with the wider global infrastructure global debt team in London, Paris.  Prepare screening papers for the Allianz GI Investment Committee (IC), and prepare materials to present to current and potential investors.  Assist in negotiating debt terms with borrowers, advisers, underwriters, and placement agents.  Undertake detailed transaction due diligence, including the review and analysis of financial, legal, commercial and technical reports.  Prepare investment proposals and presentation to Investment Committee.  Assist in the ongoing review of financial and operating performance including meetings with management and liaising with the agent, lenders counsel, and wider lender group.  Stay informed of key developments in the infrastructure and credit markets and ensure dissemination of information to the wider team.  Attend seminars and other training to supplement knowledge as required.  Additional responsibilities may include providing support in dealing with investor queries, maintaining a deal pipeline spreadsheet, and interaction with operations and funding activities.

 

What you bring:

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Business, Economics, Resource Economics and Policy, Socio-Ecological Economics and Policy, or a related field and five (5) years of experience in finance.  Experience must include the following:

  • Experience preparing investment and portfolio materials, including due diligence documents.
  • Experience in private and credit infrastructure investment and debt strategies.
  • Experience in Excel tools - Power Query, Power Pivot, and VBA macros.
  • Experience in conducting financial analytics and interpreting financial statements.
  • Experience in conducting independent research on sector trends, market updates and producing industry overview.
  • Utilization of artificial intelligence tools and resources (e.g. generative AI).

Salary:  $178,402 to $210,000 per year

Note the job posting range is exclusive of company benefits or other compensation.  This role is also eligible for an anuual incentive program.  If you are hired, your final base salary will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, experience, skills, compentencies, and /or education.  In addition to those factors, we will also consider internal equity of our current employees.  Please keep in mind that the range provided is the full base salary range for the role.
