 The Private Markets Operations Specialist plays a key role in supporting the full investment lifecycle of Private Debt funds and mandates. This position ensures operational excellence across fund administration, deal closings, investor servicing, and reporting processes, while driving workflow optimization and automation. The role serves as an operational interface between internal investment teams, external service providers, and clients to ensure accurate, efficient, and compliant execution of all business-as-usual (BAU) and change activities.

 

What you do:

  • Fund Administration and Investment Support
    • Coordinate and oversee fund administration activities, including cash management, investor reporting, and reconciliation.
    • Support the Investment Team throughout the deal closing process by preparing funding documentation and ensuring timely and accurate execution.
    • Supervise closing and funding operations, ensuring adherence to internal controls and regulatory requirements.
    • Ensure accuracy and completeness of interest and principal payments.
    • Liaise with clients and custodians on operational, tax, and reporting matters.
  • Business-as-Usual (BAU) Operations
    • Manage data handling and reporting activities for the Direct Debt strategy, ensuring accuracy and consistency across systems and reports.
    • Monitor daily operations, identify and resolve issues impacting data quality, payments, or settlements.
    • Maintain close coordination with Fund Accounting and other stakeholders to ensure integrity of financial and operational data.
    • Support periodic and ad-hoc reporting to investors and senior management.
  • Quality Control and Rating Distribution
    • Manage the distribution and validation of private ratings and associated data across systems and stakeholders.
    • Conduct quality assurance checks to ensure data accuracy and compliance with internal standards.
    • Utilization of artificial intelligence tools and resources (e.g. generative AI).

 

What you bring:

  • Proven experience in Private Markets, ideally within Private Debt fund operations or fund accounting.
  • Strong analytical and structured working approach, with attention to detail and process discipline.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience working in an international, cross-functional environment preferred.
  • You must be legally authorized to work in the US without requiring immigration sponsorship now or in the future.  This includes holders of H-1B, H4, L-1, L-2, TN, OPT, CPT and other nonimmigrant visas.

 Education and Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
  • Fluent in English, German beneficial

 

Job posting range $125,000.00 - $145,000.00

Note the job posting range is exclusive of company benefits or other compensation. This role is also eligible for an annual incentive program. If you are hired, your final base salary will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, experience, skills, competencies, and/or education. In addition to those factors, we will also consider internal equity of our current employees. Please keep in mind that the range provided is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at or near the maximum of the range would not be typical to allow for future and continued salary growth.
