Join us now as Institutional Sales Manager in Singapore within the Distribution/ Institutional Sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and promoting AllianzGI’s institutional capabilities to key clients in SEA and build on the visibility of Allianz GI capabilities, with a focus on growing the footprint for Private Markets strategies. Responsible for overall sales management to institutional clients in coverage areas. Develop strategic relationships with key institutional clients.
What you do
- Be strategic and deliberate in the marketing of AllianzGI’s global suite of investment capabilities and services to selected institutional clients in SEA such as government agencies, pension funds, central banks, endowments, insurance companies, family office etc.
- Work with Head of Institutional Sales to grow pipeline with existing and new leads for strategies in fund raising mode, with a focus on Private Markets strategies.
- Partner with regional and global teams to shape the core offerings (Private Markets and Public Markets etc.) in ways that could maximize the growth opportunities across different types of clients in SEA
- Establish and maintain market presence and brand identity
- Management of sales process including the preparation of client brief, meeting notes and strategic involvement of stakeholders for sales pitches and the completion of sales with institutional clients
- Maintain close cooperation with other regional functions including and not limited to product development, legal, compliance, operations, investments and general management
- Work with client management team to serve clients after acquisition and seek opportunities to broaden the relationship through other investment capabilities.
- Ensure adherence to both internal and external procedures and compliance requirements across key SEA markets.
What you bring
- University Degree; CFA Institute preferred
- 10+ years of institutional sales and relationship management experience
- Strong network with SEA institutional investors including Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, the Philippines
- Established network in the endowment and family office sector a plus
- Proven track record of sales wins especially with private markets strategies. A strategic hunter.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong business sense and hands on approach
- Self-motivated, results oriented, creative and think of the box
- Strong analytical skills
- Intimate knowledge of markets
- AI skills : ChatGPT, CoPilot
